China's Xi to meet Venezuela's Maduro on Friday

China's foreign ministry said on Friday that President Xi Jinping would meet Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro that afternoon, during a visit to Beijing where he seeks to convince China to disburse fresh loans to the crisis-struck oil producer.
